-What is this piece about?

An idea that came to mind after looking at an old piece a friend showed me from a while back. I thought it was appropriate to do something fun that could bring artists and fans in general together. The request is to draw Asha from Monster World IV/Asha in Monster World. If you do manage to do so, tag me in your work and we'll not only feature it in the Monster-World-Mania group, but do something special with it on Youtube.

-Who is Asha exactly?

Asha is the protagonist of the 1994 Sega Genesis action rpg, Monster World IV and the first female lead in the iconic Wonder Boy series of games. She is a swordsman who set off on an adventure to rescue the four spirits and restore peace to Monster World. She is a highly expressive character focused on cranking the cute meter to 11. When opening a treasure chest, she swings her hips in excitement to see what's in store!

-What does this hope to accomplish?

Aside from having fun, there is actually a message that I have from series creator Ryuichi Nishizawa. Since we're in a Wonder Boy renaissance, we've received a total of six new games in the series since 2016. The series is alive and well as well as its fandom; more active than it's ever been in fact. As you all know, when it comes to game development, money talks. It is the very source that shows companies and developers that we want more of something. So if you all would like a sequel to Monster World IV and to see the series continue in the modern day, we'll have to show as much love and support as possible.
