We sent a note to her beforehand, and told her all about it. She seems to have no problem with it.
Besides, We absolutely do not claim this, or any other base that wasn't created from an original picture, to be ours.

Regardless of weather you claim it or not, ripping off someone's art is still wrong without consent. When you say "Seem" Did they reply saying it was okay or just not ever reply at all? There IS a difference

YES. In fact, we DID get a note reply from her, saying it was alright.
She said that she is totally fine with this and that we should continue, and there is no need for the removal of these bases. (Her quote: "I am more than happy to let you continue using it as a base, it makes me proud to see it being put to use like that.")
The only thing that ticks her off is when people steal/alter her artwork and not leave credit, or claim that it is their own. Which we obviously are not doing.
If you want, I can send you her reply in the next comment if you want to argue further, but as far as I know, this small arguement is now over.
