How to write Yaoi

Writing a good Yaoi takes a lot of practice, but I hope this tutorial will help

(   ) = additional information
{   } = my little thoughts and feelings ^_^

[Step 1] Understand your couple.
You need to know which one is the uke and which one is the seme

Seme: strong, usually taller, bigger build, dominant
Uke: shy, small, usually very thin and feminine

For example, if you are using Squall leonheart and Seifer almasy (final fantasy VIII) squall would be the uke and Seifer would be the seme, because Seifer is more violent and he is a lot stronger, he has a bigger build and he isn't a person who'd submit easily {but this is where you can use bondage ect.}

On harder couples like Light Yagami and L lawliet (death note) you can decide for yourself {fuuuuuuuuuun}

[Step 2] Choose your scene.
You need to choose your location carefully, sometimes the bedroom can be sexy but it gets a little boring for the audience.

If you are using a Naruto couple, you could use:
 the hot springs
 forest

You don't have to use the same old location every single time, it just stops your Yaoi story from being that little bit more original.
But remember that your location also has to be plausible, you can't do something like (middle of street) unless you want it to be very awkward and scarring for the two of them… but it doesn't make a very hot Yaoi…

[Step 3] Choose your positions carefully.
You can use some locations to your advantage for example…

different locations have different levels, such as in a hot spring the story could go something like

Sasuke bent the small blonde over the edge of the spring, his tanned skin pressed to the tiles

Or

Sasuke lifted the small uke so his legs could wrap around his waist, the blonde boy held the uchiha's neck for support as he pushed himself…{mwahaha}

But yeah, use everything to your advantage

[Step 4] remember the little details.
Every little detail counts
Is it night time or daytime?
Is it cold or hot?
Are they inside or outside?
What are they wearing?

All these little things make your story so much better
It's what makes your story stand out, use your sick little fan girl/boy imagination {Sasuke in a maid outfit… *licks lips* anywhoo…}

[Step 5] CONFIDENCE!
I cannot say this enough, you guys be confident, I started out struggling with kissing scenes... but I finnaly said {fuck you conscience!} and I went for it, and I have never gone back to that pussy, wimpy way of writing because it's just so slow… and boring… and it drangs on… but if you just think to yourself I CAN DO THIS!!! Then nothing can stop you

SO GET OUT THERE AND WRITE SOME YAOI!!!!
AND SEND ME YOUR WORK!!!
