but what traits does a 'normal' Shadonette have?
And, what traits do the other types ofΒ Shadonettes get/have?

Normal Shadonette specific traits are human body and tri-color shadows that aren't made of any other matter (gas/liquid/solid)

Otherwise, their shadows can be made of any other matter (gas/liquid/solid) for example: fire, flowers, poison,Β they can have different skin colors, and different body types that are at least 50% human !

Would it be okay to use this species only for personal fun? As in, completely 100% privately? Also, do Shadonettes have the same age range/growth & such as humans, or does it depend on what their animal is?

Using Shadonettes for personal use would be fine given you still get the MYO slots for making one ! Sorry if this seems harsh-- but it's just a lot easier to regulate and to enforce for the sake of the group.

They form/grow based on interaction with humans and society, so the growth rate is fluctuant-- but usually if they're in a city and get a lot of human exposure, they'll grow at practically the same rate.

for the wings, what if theyre both flesh and shadows??
its said that half of their shadows are present outside of the body, so would a flesh wing (im going for feathered/bird wing) with shadow parts be okay?

wings are not required!
and for the second part,
1. if the wings are made of entirely shadows, they can be hidden
2. if the wings are physical flesh, they can be retracted but not hidden

Shadonettes can optionally have wings! It's required if they originate from a winged animal like a bird or bats. But, for example: if a Shadonette is a cow, then the owner can decide on whether or not to give them wings!

Depends on what you want! There is official lore and a world for Shadonettes (that I still have to touch up and finish), but you are entirely free to have them be in whatever universe that fits your needs ^^

Are the shadows always on the same part of the body?Β are they just static or do they shift/move in place?Β And (sorry for asking so many questions lmao) can they have any color?
Edit: Does the mask have to partially cover their face or can it also be on the top/side of their head? Do they actually use it outside of their animal for or is it just there?

Shadows are indeed always on the same part of the body! They might shift a little bit but it won't look that much different. They also can have absolutely any color (up to 3 colors total).
The mask technically doesn't have to be worn at all times, as long as it comes into contact with their body. So this means the mask can be placed anywhere on the head, or it can be held or have some other method of coming in contact with the body.
Masks for the Shadonettes are basically their souls! They contain the Shadonette's personality. If they aren't in contact with it for too long (I'm not sure how long that is yet...) then they'll become extremely unstable and can't function within a normal human-like society.
and yes! They can have both of those eyes at a time!
Most of this is actually apart of the lore that I have yet to make a reference sheet for, so additional information will be added later gjaksdll

oK quick question before I jump into making my MYO from the other event !!
so it says any reptile tail so like,, would I be able to do a dino tail? or is that like jumping too far into reptiles lolol
