Description It's been quite a while since I submitted something like this I think I have a case of artists block =/

There are a few reasons for the title- originally this chracter was inspired by Yukiru Sugisakis "Dark" of D.N angel and also because I had a whole load of fun experimenting with layers, photos and textures to create the sun rays.

There's also a grungey version of this picture I may also upload. I couldn't decide which effect I liked better.

This was done over a few weeks using Opencanvas 4.5 Plus, my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet and Photoshop.

Great! Are they Copics? Those ones are AMAZING though, they are very expensive. I've heard prismacolors are just as great for a fraction of the price though.

Letraset. not bad
spent like £45 on 30 .

got 3 starter sets.
im getting some copics and Prismas when i get a "real" job hah.

Oh I know them! They sell them cheap at my art uni.
They come in really beautiful colours, I love the pastel shades.
AAAANDDDdd they blend and have a clear blender just like copics which is dead useful.

There's only one problem I had with them, though and that is that they tend to run so you have to use heavy or marker paper with them which is annoying because I usually just grab cheap printer paper to work on when I'm in the mood haha. But let me know how you get on with them!
