OOOOOmmmggggYeah, DevID... with my CrAzY SmUdGe ShAdInG!!! haha, it looks really crappy on this one... i dont know why T_T the highlights wouldnt cooperate...
And the hair was a FUGLY BITCH, i made one later, where i had it shaded, one layer where i did the flat yellow color, and another where i did the strokes to make it look hairish... and it look reallyweird... i messed with it for like over an hour... and it still looks gross @_@
and. oh my god. im not wearing my sweatshirt >_______> it was weird, and i was shaking a lot from being all 'naked' ugh it was horrible ;-;

OKAY. i kept looking at my profile... looking at this picture, and god. it was so gross, i finally had to do something
So i made the chin a lot smaller, becuase that was one of the things that reeeeeeally bugged me... aaaaand... i did a few modifications to the eye... i wish i could have done something about the hair, but eeeeh i couldnt
holy shit this discription was long enough and now i just added to it. hahaha.

yeah, also, the darkchild guys comment kindof was right, because in your pic., your head is looking more down than it is in the one you drew. so... yeah. Leaving that eye off is a little weird, but your'e right. I didn't notice it, until the guy commented on it. hah. You shaded that part all dark, therefore making it less noticable. Good job making your mistakes seem smaller. Hooray!!! Peoww!

haha yeah, it looks different from the picture, but its not like i traced it, i just used it for reference... so things like the angle of my head dont matter so much becuase it still looks (sort of) normal the way i drew it
and yeah haha i really just didnt want to put the other way, if i made that side of my face look darker, then it would probably look normal... or if i just put the hair over it more

The right eye is a bit off and there is no left eye in this picture. The ears are too high. Ears usually run from the eyebrow to the bottom of the nose (look at anatomy books or any head shot)....if you're aiming for the realistic look.
Shapes are your best friend. It's easier to start out with simple shapes than going into details first.

haha yeah im not really going for realistic, because i know i could never achieve that XD but yeah, i took off the left eye becuase it looks a little weird, i just left it as if it were covered with hair
- - about the ear, on the photo i took of myself the ear doesnt look like it goes that low, but it just might be the perspective
And as soon as i start taking my art clases ill get anatomy down but that is definately something i need to work on
also, what do you mean by shapes? like drawing just simple things get the figure of the face down?

its a little flat electronic thing that you plug into your computer, and it comes with a pen that lets you draw on the flat thing... basicly, its like drawing on a peice of paper... only it goes on your computer
