*walks out of the shadows* I'm back with YJ stuff FINALLYBetween school and stuff I've been in a rut with YJ things but SEASON 3 WAS ANNOUNCED AND REVIVED ME
So have some LightSpeed PRE SEASON 1. Nightlight met Kid Flash while her father and the Flash teamed up to take down a baddie that found he's way from Central City to San Francisco Β and during their team up Kid Flash was actually the first person to make Nightlight laugh since her mom passed away. The first of many laughs they share together.
Would have done some season 3 stuff but I'm waiting til I learn the details cause if Wally doesn't come back? It's going to be a very dark time for Nightlight (Though i still will maintain a "happy" AU of him coming back cause HAPPY)

May i ask how you came up with the design for Nightlight?
her costume is super cute and one of my favorite OC costumes
i'm asking because i'm trying to redesign my own OC's costume

There really is no one way when it comes to designing a costume. I went through countless of drafts and redesigns over the past year or so. To me what's really important is functionality. you figure out what works best for your character and then throw in some of their own personality into it. For Nightlight she progresses as she grows up. A good rule of thumb is to keep things rather simple the younger they are and as they grow up their outfits can become more complex to match their character development.
Also color theory is important to keep in mind, Find out what certain colors mean. For Nightlight I gave her a purple and pink color scheme cause those colors tend to represent the mystic arts. So looks around at color meanings and what they're associated with that best suit your characters.
