Yeah, I was fooling around with photoshop one day and randomly figured it out. All the other tutorials I've seen for it are complicated and have like, fifty steps. Figured I'd post a simple tutorial for it (:

Haha, well it doesn't seem like you're bad at it or anything from what I can see. All I do to mine, really, is add textures, add colors, change brightness/contrast, etc. I just play around with stuff until I come up with something. I never plan anything out anymore, because I can't seem to come up with anything when I have something in mind that I want to make. That's one of the reasons I don't like half of the edits in my gallery anymore. I only seem to actually like what I come up with when I totally wing it and come up with things on the spot.

i take requests from people, but only when they people who tell me like exactly what they want. when i try to do stuff on my own, i can never think up anything good and everything tends to look the same lol

I'm pretty much the complete opposite. I can't stand being told what to do. I like adding my own 'touch' to things.

there's a lot of people who are like "do whatever you want to it" but that doesn't tell me if they want vampire or basic edit or what......but lately i just kinda want to edit whatever pictures i want...but i have a hard time finding pictures i want to randomly use

Well yeah, you usually need a general idea of what they want. But it's just the details I hate being told to do.
And yeah, I'm the same way. I usually edit pictures of my friends but I haven't really wanted to lately, hahah. I've tried to find something interesting to edit and I haven't been able to find something that grabs my attention recently.
