I think this belongs in "digital art" as it is obviously one side of an image mirrored, hence the absolute symmetry. One only need look at the precise mirroring of shadows, reflections and stains to see that it's impossible for it to be otherwise, unless there were two suns on that day, and other space/time anomalies. Why try to pass it off as a real building?

It's not bad for a mirrored image in Photoshop.

While I agree with you, I think it warrants a place in the photography category.

Sure. If I were the artist I'd acknowledge it's a mirrored image though. It's really a piece of cake technique: [link]

Not to disparage the quality of the end result, which many people rightfully admire! It's good work!

Cool! I'm surprised that you really did get off such a symmetrical shot to begin with. I can appreciate the end result more now, and also see how you improved on your original photo. Unfortunately for some viewers who are very familiar with mirroring images, or maybe it's just me, once you used this technique the implication is that we are just seeing a section of the building reflected. I think the other cloning and warping techniques would have worked better for me, but I'm just one person. The ball on the very top that is now two balls, and reflected on the inside on both sides is the dead giveaway of a mirror technique, and obviously unnatural. It's up to you, but I'd lose the second ball and go with near perfect, natural symmetry.

Incidentally, while I'm not that crazy about this image, I saw a lot of other photos and drawings in your galleries that are outstanding!

Congrats on the DD!
