Description
Master painting study based on a fragment of A Coign of Vantage (1895) by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. I turned this into a more personal task by portraying my original character Leif while keeping the essence of the original painting.
I enjoyed working on this so much and learned some things about colors. So, Hopefully not the last one master study of this kind.

hmmm also I gotta try this "master study" some time, I didn't know it was a thing!

I can hear the sound of the waves and the cry of the birds. The colors are incredibly rich and the spirit of the original piece is right here. You did a fantastic job and what's more, it's nice to see a new side of Leif. Thanks for sharing this with us!
