Just a little something to help me with Fakemon. I was having a bit of a block trying to make some Fakemon, when I remembered others using fake types all the time. So I decided to add some of those types to the list and broaden the choices a bit. I included Nuclear, Cosmic, Light, Cyber, Air, and Sound Don't ask me their defense and offense, because this is just for fun.Related content

Demon type pokemon are strong against: fairy cyber fire rock psychic fighting steel normal
Demon type pokemon are weak against: electric sound dragon ice water grass ground
Demon type pokemon are immune against: ghost flying poison normal dark bug fire
Demon type pokemon are vulnerable against: dragon ground ice

I came up with eight types of my own. Space, mystic, technology, sun, moon, energy, star, and power.

I, personally, would recommend that you base Light Type around the Sun. Cause most of Fairy-Type moves revolve around the Moon. With the Cosmic Type, I think that it should revolve around stars. With sound, you could come up with moves that boost an ally's stats in a double or triple battle, like a bard from RPG games. Cyber Type, obviously, should revolve around data and hi-tech. Nuclear should maybe revolve around atoms and bombs, I think.

You can't do a rock and ground thing with Flying and Air

Nice, though personally I feel the Fairy type acts like the equivalent to light since its strong against light types and doesn't do much damage to fire types.

Thats what kinda bugs me. I was thinking about this stuff a lot last night, thinking what types would work and what wouldn't work. I was thinking about a Magic type, but Fairy seems to fill that one too. I even tried using sound and machine. But machine more likely fell under steel.

You know Sound is actually one of the most common fan types, and the fact many sound attacks and the Whismur line's Soundproof ability makes it work even more.
And most of the Pokemon who became fairy types or gained it were often changed into or gained the light type from fans, so that also makes the fairy type seem like the light type as well.
I know what you mean, it does seem tough to work that in, I've seen some people make the Time-type, space-type, I even recall a silent-type

Actually, some have thought up a Devine type, which pretty much falls under god-type

If someone made an Anti-type or a Mattter-type I'm gonna call a foul, mainly cause Giratina's the only Pokemon those work with

Yeah, air would make more since. Especially for a Pokemon like Tornadus which is the only pure flying type

I'd say Sound is already one you could add, moves like screech and metal sound, even growl and howl are fitting sound type attacks. And the Whismur line's ability Soundproof is a good sound-type counter as well. Plus there are some pokemon who would work well as sound types.

They only added the Fairy type because they felt the dragon type was too powerful, so it'll be a while before a new type comes up. I mean last time a new type rose up it was Gen II with Dark and Steel types.

Yeah, its hard to know. And X and Y had a trainer that said he wasn't from the other regions so that confirms there's another one still out there, if this region is in Gen VI or is the Gen VII region I'm still unsure of though.

There's always one more region. Quote from Walt Disney, "Disneyland will never be completed so long as there is imagination left in the world." Same could be said for the pokemon universe.

Not sure. I was having trouble making up my own pokemon/fakemon, so I figured adding a few more types would remove the block.

Okay, I have to say. Cyber needs to have something to do with lasers, viruses, firewalls, even techno babble (which can totes be used to confuse), maybe give them Interface/Download abilities so they can interact directly with certain tech.
