I'm so sorry.
This is my entry for Xoriu 's competition. I had so much fun with this banner! Whole-Wheat's Rana is such a joy to use, even if her jacket likes to misbehave if you bend her torso too much. I've been wanting an excuse to use her for a long time, and I figured this contest was a pretty good excuse! It's quite obvious, but this was greatly influenced by 70's pop art; it's what Rana's design has reminded me of since I first saw her, with her bright, saturated rainbow color-scheme. She's got a great voice, too, even if she sounds just like Miku in 98% of songs I hear her in.
Posing bits that normally have physics by hand is one of my absolute favorite things. Because Rana is supposed to be jumping (although it's hard to tell with her feet hidden), and gravity + NCHLshader would absolutely murder my computer, I got to move her dress, jacket, and hair manually, and oh my goodness. I loved it so much!
