It's about time I got this finished... I started it over a month ago, changed it entirely from my original intent, and finally decided to clean it up and polish it before I just gave up on the whole idea. I'm not 100% happy with it, but I think it looks okay overall - there were a few other details I had wanted to add, but my laptop just wasn't having any of it. I sort of wish I'd stuck with my original pose and concept idea, though!
I absolutely love both of these models; it was a joy to use them, and even more of a joy to manually pose Madoka's dress and hair. <3 Homura's hair was so fun, too! The way it was rigged made it drape perfectly over her back - I'm so, so happy I got her before the download was removed. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica is my second favorite anime of all time, coming as a close second to CLANNAD. It seems like it's quite a popular series in the MMD community (and yet somehow - at least, as far as I know - we still don't have a publicly available school uniform Kyouko!), but I wanted to do a small tribute anyway.
You also have no idea how hard it was to do this pose and camera angle without accidentally getting a panty shot.
