War Within Grimlock is made from Fall Of Cybertron Optimus Prime. Resculpted the stock head and added parts to the shoulders and knees. Energon sword is custom built from various parts of toys. Custom painted with acrylic paints for realistic weathering age and tear effect.More Images - [link]

I believe he was the result of experiments by Soundwave. If the goal was to create some of the biggest, strongest, most badass transformers ever to fight, then mission accomplished.

Amazingly done! I wish I had the skill and patience to make all my TF toys look awesome!
It's amazing how well that body lends itself to Grimlock. Looks more natural as him than as Optimus. Only thing is the windows+grill combination: that just screams Optimus even after the repaint.
