Itβs interesting how you drew the detail on his clothing, normally one would suspect black and yellow striped shorts and shirt for classification, but the design is refreshingly different and original. I really enjoy how the girth of his abdomen is pushing down on the rear of his shorts. I would really love to get a view of that Honey-Butt as heβs collecting nectar for his Queen.

Thanks. ^^ The commissioner specified a Hawaiian shirt, and that just sort of happened. I've tried to avoid the black/yellow stripes for bee theme characters (my bee-themed character has them as an accent, I admit), as it rings a bit cliche.
I've always been kind of intrigued by the idea of people with traits analogous to invertebrates' but still with the trappings of human flesh, if that makes sense (trying to phrase that right...). It'd be fun to draw a better perspective of his new addition. I'll have to put it on my to-do list...

In flight? :3 I dunno, looks like he's having some trouble there, although bees are able to fly even with an un-aerodynamic shape. ^^
I love the little bees with him and all the detail you put into his hair and that shirt!

Yeah, he's particular un-aerodynamic. He can't fly very high or very fast, but he can lift off.

I'm so glad you decided to bring this fella back again, I always thought he was cute as a button. He looks so happy flitting along with his fellow bees <3

My brief story-byte: Shortly after his change, he taps into the hive mind of the bees responsible for the his transformation (bad batch of mead brewed from the honey of genetically modified bees, hence their excessive size) and finds himself spending time with the "other drones".
