It actually took a while, even more because the first attempt at the bg, the recording program stopped so i had to redo it again.
I'd say the bg in all took me some 7 to 9 hours not sure, this including the redo part.

Quick question though. I was watching the videos of how you made this and how did you get those textures (like the bricks on the roof)? were they from a picture, or different custom brushes or were you just painting it from scratch?

On this pic i used some textured brushes just to be a bit faster, but the tiles on the roofs were made from scratch, I just made one and duplicated.

how do you download textured brushes into sai? But doing the roof tiles from scratch, that's some real talent!

Well there are 2 ways a manual way and an automatic way
The manual way is a bit harder but not that much, you can see here how to do it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkQ7EE...
The automatic way its much easier, you only need to place the texture files on the correct folders and then open sai with the executable file with the icon on the red circle i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac... older Sai versions didnt have this so you need to check Sai's installation folder if you got it, if you do, open with it and it will automatically add the textures.
