Yes. for this mandala i've used the Ultra Fractal software.
I've started this making a fractal spiral that is the long way. The part more easy is transform that spiral in a mandala with a mapping opcion called Kaleidoscope. Then i worked on it simply moving to all the sides for find the better shape. I've worked on the colors too.
