Drew these two dorks the other day.I threw together different sample references when I drew Mothra because I couldn't find any clear shots of her. So I mixed everything and added my own flare to her.
This is the first time I've ever drawn the Legendary Godzilla, so apologies if he looks out of place.
Might draw these two some more.
The title is in reference not to shipping, but to some of the Godzilla verses titles.

This is my favorite picture of this pair, pretty much of all time, since it was shown to me sometime last year. With your permission, I have someone on standby who is going to make this into a custom silhouette cake topper for my wedding. (my fiance and I are big Kaiju fans, his favorite being Godzilla and mine being Mothra)

Why do people keep shipping these two together!
What about the Rodan / Godzilla crack shipping? We never really knew WHICH of the two Rodans survived that volcano eruption!

Well, I can't speak for everyone else. But I can tell you why I like the pairing. It's mainly through what movies they chose her to be in. Like, of all monsters, Mothra is the most recurring monster in the Godzilla movies. People have even called her the Queen of Monsters and Godzilla the King of Monsters. And shes the only monster to have started solo, brought into the Godzilla movies, started her own series for a while, and came back. But that's just me. I'm sure a lot of people have different reasons to like the pairing.
Some people even paired Rodan with Mothra. The only time I saw anybody pair up Rodan with Godzilla was briefly in a fanfiction story. But, I'm sure there are other people that paired up Godzilla and Rodan. Although, I always figured Rodan was a male anyway. Fire Rodan on the other hand has been referred to as a female before. But, in all seriousness, like what you like.
