Description
Mod is here steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles…
I made this mod months ago but I decided to just go ahead and post it here on DA. Tallest development will be in the works soon.
Big portrait is rushed and gross. But it was my least of my worries at the time. He might get an updated big portrait whenever I come back to him. Gameplay and ingame model is all that matters.
---
Play as gir from Invader Zim. Compatible with [NEZ] Zim. Most likely not compatible with [DST] Gir. (Unexpected bugs when paired with these old mods such as the NEZ and DST invader Zim mods may appear however. I am unresponsible for what may happen)
At 90% sanity, Duty mode will automatically activate forcing gir out of his suit. Gir cannot use his suit in Duty mode. He will comment random custom lines when entering the mode.
Stats:
Health 150
Hunger 150
Sanity 100
Modes:
Dog Suit (press z to toggle dog suit)
-no sanity drain
-slow attack speed
-hunger drains slower
-.75x damage
Normal
-moderate sanity drain
-moderate attack speed
-hunger drains normal rate
-1x damage
Duty (enters into duty mode above 90% sanity)
-minimum sanity drain
-fast attack speed
-hunger drains normal rate
-1.5x damage
Base Pros:
-gains 10% more sanity from eating food.
-Can eat monster meat and spoiled food
Base Cons:
-Is a glass cannon especially in duty mode. Will take 10% more damage due to small size
-Has constantly draining sanity
Note: He has some custom dialogue. Stats are bound to change. Also not much testing has been done during his last scripting stages, so there may be a possiblity of some unbalance.
Special thanks to (Kzisor/Ysovuka) for the key handler, and the tutorial they made for the transformations.

dog suit seems OP, only downside is the slow attack rate. i dont see a motive to not be constantly on dog mode. maybe make hunger drain a little faster. or you have to pay x amount of sanity to enter it. maybe walk at a slower speed. etc.

That's your opinion, many people will think the opposite of what you believe is OP for the dog suit. To me slow attack speed, 10% glass cannon and low .75 is weak and not good at taking down mobs and creatures which is what you want to do and need to do once you get to fighting bosses and other essential mobs to progress in the game. The point of the dog suit is to increase survival in the winter or when food is scarce while the other modes are more combat focused. Paying sanity when people are already complaining amount sanity management is only going to make people complain more.

it IS my opinion. i find unnecessary o point it out as its obvious.
i was giving ideias on ways o counterbalance the + sides of the dog suit. as it is i fell like there is major negative, specialty as i can stay on that mode all the time. its not combat focused? no problem, i have nothing holding me from toggle i on and off at anytime i want.
i get what you are saying. but i feel that it encourages a bit too much using it 90% of the time.

I just cannot stand people in the DST community tossing around the word OP. When in fact it's not. The dog suit is underpowered if anything if you compare it to any character out there, and if you're not going around killing things then that's on you. Most characters you can survive for a long time without killing stuff. Just because you're using it most of the time doesn't equal Overpowered, because you don't have sanity boosts from it or anything it just normalizes your sanity, and slows hunger drain. You're supposed to toggle it on and off, it's how you're meant to play him. If you don't toggle it on and off then you're playing him wrong, forgetting or going a purely offensive crazy route. In which going offensive and crazy is also what you're supposed to do late game.
