Very nice, love the wide range of colors and the metallic appearance. I love playing with this type of Fractal its so simple and still gives a wide range of effects.

Agreed. I think I used the blur3D instead of blur on variation 1 to give it the metallic look. You can see the difference with this one which I just used just the blur value. You might also notice that I added too much blur, because the color bands overlap each other. [link] Thank you very much for the kind comments.

I've used Blur3d before and it looks great. Try using Spherical3d instead of plain spherical the effect is very striking.
