As a tribute to Half-Life 2 Episode 2 I did this digital painting of the hunter attacking Alyx as Gordon reaches for her. This painting is also an entry for "For The Love Of Games Competetion". I hope you all enjoy it and not have too many feels.Half-Life 2 Episode 2 Belongs to Valve

Yes, hunters are awesome! (maybe not when they're killing Alyx, but usually!) xD (and he looks so cool when you draw him; I find those guys are really hard to draw! o: )

They took me awhile to get their shape down (mostly by observing them in Gmod) in order to see their shape

It was so scary.
Also one of the things I point to when I say that HL games have always had the best, most subtle 'cut scenes' when you lose control. There's literally nothing that Gordon could have done - in this scene, in the advisor barn, and one or two scattered other times when control is taken from you the player. Unlike in many other games where the plot is forwarded at the expense of allowing the player to expose it (Bioshock I'm looking at you).

Yes you are so right, I feel so helpless when those parts happened. I had so mant feels, but in the end I really do enjoy it when a game does that.
