Nice use of shadows, multiple shadows actually, and the spots on the apple. The stem is very well done.
But try not to outline the apple so much as shade around it in order to imply the line rather than actually draw it.

it was my first go at drawing an apple, i think its a pretty good effort for a grade 10, thanks for the advise i'll remember it for next time
