Description
(Based upon the Cryptid Hunter Zabraq episode from Swamp Dweller, also Sam Owl since he is the one sending the stories to Swamp Dweller)Zabraq
Species: Desertusdraco acidumiculator
(Desert Dragon that Throws Acid)
Height: 8 Feet at hump and head when lined up.
Diet: Carnivorous
Temperament: Territorial
Location: Iran
Habitat: Arid Areas, usually around cliffs.
Species Information: Zabraq are a rare species of reptile that is extremely unique and equally as terrifying. Somewhat resembling a Drepanosaurus, albeit a extremely large evolved predatory version of said prehistoric reptile, it probably isn't related but the resemblance is somewhat uncanny. Mostly notable for its dog like legs, sharp tusks, double back humps, and a long tail with a strange spoon like ending. Its color is apparently a mottled yellow color which can make it look almost golden, which can help hunting with arid sandy environments. It typically sticks around areas that has cliffs due to it being able to climb rather easily, either going up or down. While not as fast as certain prey animals it can prey upon, it is still a highly successful predator due to one evolutionary advantage. Zabraq have a specialized organ that produces extra blood which is apparently acidic, and has a opening between the legs. Its tail can bend and collect the volatile liquid and launch it at any would be prey item, usually ending a hunt before a prey animal can even run away. The blood used could actually be mixed with its stomach acid which Zabraq could have more advanced stomach acid, however that is just a theory of mine. This evolutionary advantage most likely evolved orginally as a defense for the ancestor of this animal, but eventually it got used for a different purpose as well. Zabraq are very territorial and will attack anything that encroaches on its turf, regardless if it's another animal or human. Which makes this animal a very dangerous thing to encounter but this doesn't make it a monster. Zabraq are a excellent example of nature's many unique animals with a strange defensive or offensive capability, and are honestly a beautiful animal as long as you aren't on the end of its territorial rage.
