Testing Promarkers ( Letraset / Winsor&Newton ). It was really fun!Drawn in less than 2 hours.
Tools: Letraset/Winsor&Newton Promarkes, black Stabilo Pen 86, Edding 1880 drawliner 0.1. No references used. No pencil sketching first.

I actually took a photo of it with my cellphone, and adjusted the contrast digitally in order to match the original

I was curious as well, so I hope you don't mind me looking through this thread. XD
That's really cool! I can never take photos on my phone nice enough without so many shadows being cast over it from my phone and fingers (sometimes headphone and charger wires as well) so props to you!! XD I just usually scan and adjust the scan with a photo editor on a laptop so it doesn't look so ghostly...

It is better to use a scanner, though! I am just too lazy to hook up the scanner, lol. But the trick is to do some digital post-processing using GIMP/Photoshop etc, to adjust the contrast and vibrance.
