Description Some of the finest collage sketches done from 'one' of my final exams in 2010, in 'Interior- and Displaydesign'.

The task were: "...to create a display and interior
design for a couple who wanted to start a restaurant with
a reptilian theme."

I had two main reptilians in focus for this task, those two were a Leopard Gecko as a type of mascot or logo and a Coral snake for the main color theme.

This is some of the sketches I did where I practiced myself on how to draw the Leopard Gecko correctly. We were given 3 days to finish of with the task and present it for the teachers.

The references I used: [link] - [link] - [link] .

The inspiration to use Leopard Gecko's in this task were cause of ~Spinosaur123 's pet leopard gecko, named Raptor.

It were fun to draw out my own design.
If you looked to the references, at the first link, you can actually see a smiling gecko. It's so cute!

I just checked it, and I can't believe it's actually smiling! It's kind of unexpected weird to see animals that appear to be grinning.

I know. That's why I just had to try and imitate the expression in one of my sketches.

Hopefully I'm not spamming or running my mouth where I shouldn't but... "Realism" is about incorporating the traits we observe on something real, using refferance hardly detracts from the skill of which you illustrated it. It's your lines, not a picture you snagged.

Hope I don't seem too preachy, I just think you deserve credit is all x3 You seem somewhat humble, which imo is a good trait - but I still felt like adding my two cents; even if you weren't being slightly self-deprecating.

Aye, but this were just practice sketches, where I practiced with myself on how to draw the unique traits of the gecko head and anatomy.

In this [link] I used NO references, I did it 100% on my own.
All thanks to the practice of drawing over those references at the start.

Indeed... That was my point ^^

Good to know you weren't discrediting yourself; or I'd have to spam you some more BP
