ok , so basically , he's a member of a animal species that's a direct descendant of tyrannosaurus rex , their diet mainly consists of sea animals , large land animals , and the occasional humans , and this species evolved to be able to breathe fire , and the creatures would go on to inspire legends of sea monsters and dragons , there's 1 island in particular that believes him to be a wrathful deity known as "roptahr" , which in their language means "he who swallows the sea" , oceanus , it's inhabitants are 1 of the last uncontacted peoples on earth , when fishing is poor on the island , the natives sacrifice a few of their own to appease him , tying them to boats and sending them afloat to be eaten by reptar , and every night , they perform a ritual dance in the hopes that reptar will spare them

Yikes , that sounds brutal Reptar's a beast . If this was canon and they would show this on tv i don't think the parents would even let the babies watch it .

It looks like as a result of the Reptar franchise's decision to make the latest Reptar movie dark and scary, Tommy and Chuckie will have nightmares for at least 3 months.
