Description
When the militaries of the local cluster came to find heavy armor vehicles far too easy to target and eliminate, a race began in the development of armored power suits, capable of withstanding small arms fire and carrying heavy weapon systems, yet remaining small and mobile. This first iteration of heavy armor suits were dubbed the Atlas class. When the armor suits became more commonplace on the battlefield, the need for faster movement of these suits became evident. Atlas class models required large deployment platforms carried in aircraft and AFVs. These systems were slow and required valuable time to suit an operator and send them into battle. So the second generation of power suits were developed, the Hyperlight class. These arial models could reach speeds matching some jet aircraft, and could reach much further into enemy territory without the risk of being cut off from allies. Escape was only a short flight away...
The Hydros mark 2 is a second generation arial power suit. Far lighter than an Atlas class, but powerful in its own right. This idea was created by my good friend Hyperx ( hyperx720.deviantart.com/ ).
