Hyper X (hyperx720.deviantart.com/ ) had created this character Jin. For one reason or another, I kept visualizing him as this.

Hyper X's concept for Jin is a scientist who had tried to create a helmet that could directly connect both man and machine to allow untold possibilities. But the connection had the unforeseen side effect of causing it to feed of his body's own energy supply, rather than an external source. As such he is plagued with the ever growing need to consume energy, or face death. Due to the nature of the equipment, He cannot remove it. Only add additional equipment to try and minimize its effects. He can also drain the energy he needs from others, which can lead to a very alarming conflict of interest when his becomes low.
