Yeah ... I really have to do some artwork on my other favorite shows, too
Has been a while since I did something about Transformers 
After taking a look on a sneak peak of the new TF show "Robots in Disguise", I kinda liked Strongarm right from the begining www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZavCHw…
I don't know why
She looks like G1 Prowl, yet she reminds a lot of TFP Arcee, too 
I don't know what to think about this new upcoming show ... I will give it a chance, but honestly ... I already dislike the animation style -.- It looks like a mix of TF Energon and Rescue Bots to me
I so hope, this show will do justice to its prequel show "TF Prime"
Hopefully they don't ruin the great TF Prime show with this! 
Aaaanyway... I know, here are probably design mistakes on Strongarm, but hey! It's my first try on her

I don't know if you know this but the animation style I heard is very similar to Tron Uprising, a very short lived TV show on Disney XD. I must agree with you, I haven't seen the show and already I'm starting to dislike the style, this is the same reason I didn't get into Transformers Animated. Like you said I will give the show chance, It could be good show but I'm lowering my expectations a bit, especially after that pathetic excuse for an "Epic conclusion" that was Predacons Rising. (I may like TFP BUT I didn't like Beast Hunters and Predacons Rising, just thought I mention this)
I've also lowered my expectations because of the lack of the original cast, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime are ONLY returning characters, the rest are nowhere to be found... I'm still hoping for at least a cameo or a reference to them, just something small like that... especially after all the unresolved story arcs and cliff-hangers from Transformers Prime. (With the Airachnid cliff-hanger at the end of "Thirst" being the WORST offender, still haven't forgiven the writers for doing that)
Another thing I will say is that I'm not sure what to think of Grimlock, he seems too... comedic, also to me he doesn't look like a T-Rex, he looks like a fat, two legged crocodile. I'm fine with reimagining characters along as it's done right... Arcee from TFP was my favourite character because of the reimagining, but this is a very easy thing to mess up.
We'll just have to wait and see until RID airs later this year...

I've heard of that Tron Uprising show, but never watched it. Those Disney shows of nowadays don't get much of my attention (I still prefer more the Disney cartoons from my childhood).
I admit, TFA had a too much cartoony-style, but at least the storyline was awesome, which made me love this show so much next to TFP.
As for TFP, I liked the whole show. The idea to introduce some Beast Wars like characters was actually clever made. And I also enjoyed the movie. True, it wasn't an epic action film, but it was ok. But that's just me
I've heard, the rest of the TFP crew should have an appearence in season 2
I agree with you - there had been so many cliff hangers, which they should include in this show.
Is there already an airing date known, when this TF show comes on TV?

To be fair Beast Hunters and Predacons Rising were not terrible, they had some good ideas but I felt like they didn't unleash them to their full potential. Sure there was a Beast in there but the Autobots don't hunt it, they were finding bones for the majority of the season and they just ran into the Beast by coincidence or the Beast was hunting them. It feels like the "Beast Hunters" concept was just... lost, the concept just slowly fades away after episode 9, I mean where did the zombie episode come from? It just comes out of no where... it has nothing to do with the "Beast Hunters" concept so why put it in there? Overall Beast Hunters feels unfinished... it's like they cut out more than half the story which Hasbro "Swears" they'll just show us later... after they made more money from Robots in Disguise, I hope that's not the case but it's this kind of business practice I get enough of in the video game industry, I don't need it here in animation.
I am aware we'll see the old cast again in season 2 but that doesn't mean they should just completely ignore them for an entire season, Star Wars Rebels may have a different cast but at least it has some cameos of characters and references of it's prequel show Star Wars the Clone Wars, that's all I'm asking for, just to show that this is a proper sequel (and no, just bring back Optimus and Bumblebee is not good enough because they're pretty much in everything now a days)
As for the airing date, not 100% sure but I heard it might be in February in France but nothing has been confirmed

I just hope they don't put too much comedy in this show, I think they did confirm that they would be "More comedy" which is NOT always a good thing, I don't want this show to turn into Teen Titians GO or Xiaolin Chronicles.

As far as I know, Hasbro was kinda responsable for cancelling this show too soon, which makes it feel season 3 so ... "unfinished" or incomplete.
season 3 was just half the episodes than the other two. So I guess, the producers had to find a quick and shorter story for here
I don't watch the Star Wars shows, but you've got a good point!
The cast of TFP should be part of that show, too. For now, we can only wait and see how this show will develop.
I hope, they will still keep some serious and dark moments in this show. Animated actually went out nice that way at the end.
It would be horrible, if RiD would turn out like TF Energon or worse <.<

Yeah, I knew Hasbro was responsible, I'm pretty sure the writers tried their best, but even I can see that they had to cut-corners in the story and script just to get the story over faster to meet a tight deadline. I guess that would explain all the plot-holes and continuity errors I spotted, oh well... what's there is there... and there is nothing I can do that is going to change that.
I've not seen TF Energon but I heard it was heavily criticised for it's story, character derailment and outrageous habit of shoehorning gimmicks to sell toys, I know transformers was made to sell toys but Energon really was not subtle about it.
So yeah... I hope RID doesn't turn into... this. But since Hasbro have done this in the past, I won't be surprised if they did.
The dark tone is what drawn me to Transformers Prime, it had a more mature take on the Transformers Lore, which is what I like and I hope the keep some of that tone in RID. Fingers crossed until this show airs later this year.

Agreed, hate the animation style. Plus, very little Optimus, always a bad sign. But Strongarm (hate the name) looks like she could be decent.

I'm fine with the name Strongarm. But I would have liked to see Chromia instead or maybe if they would have called her like that instead of "Strongarm"

I also hope the show is good, but for the moment it's showing some things that haven't been in the shows for a while.
The Minicons, these are the ones known for now:
(autobots) Jetstorm and Slipstream.(yes you read that right, and it's male too)
(decepticons) Airazor and Divebomb.
And the show has a similar thing to a certain show that came before.
While it's possibly a coincidence, this series features antagonist with animal-like forms for the Autobots to fight, much like the series' 2001 namesake predecessor and its featured villains.

And why turning Airazor into a Con? I only know her from Beast Wars as a Maximal!

Airazor I don't mind much, because she has been such an old character in the transformers line she has made herself iconic.(like Prime when they made him those repeats) Oh here is a another fact for Airazor...male too.
Yeah, I'm pretty much pissed for what they did to Slipstream.
Funny that you talk about Starscream, because if I heard right in the toyline there is a mension of Starscream as a toy, and Soundwave, and Cyclonus. you should cheek the transformers wiki, they pretty much spoil the charcter that are going to apear on the toyline.
I never did wash the show myself but I know of it, I washed one episode to see what it was and the only good thing about it was Sky-Byte.
I myself like animal-Cons since it's been a long time we seen animal transformers(there was prime but that was only three). Plus I guess I don't find him that lame since Beast Wars had a Con in the toyline that transformed into a mosquito, badass looking but really a mosquito.
Plus I'm more happy that finally there is a show that has an army like in G1.(and not just clones of one bot)
