Description

The Martian government of the United Nova federation built and launched the technologically revolutionary interstellar ship called the ‘Crescent’ in 2899, as part of the space exploration program.
Being a generational ship with highly sophisticated state-of-the-art FTL-drive, the ‘Crescent’ is a vessel capable of crossing great distances in just under two weeks at maximum velocity. Its primary mission is to map out and explore every star and planet in the Milky way Galaxy, and build colonies all throughout the galaxy.
The ship has 25000 inhabitants as of 3012, most of them Martians, but also a few thousand Earthlings and Venusians. Most of them are scientists, researchers, and engineers, but the ship has its own dedicated military force comprising 900 personnel.
