Description
This pic shall start off Scarecrow Week. :']If you're not a Pokemon fan, I bet you didn't know Cacturne is called the "Scarecrow" Pokemon.

D/P Data Entry: It becomes active at night, seeking prey that is exhausted from the day’s desert heat.
Location: In Ruby or Sapphire you'd have to catch a Cacnea in the desert area and level it up to 32. In Diamond/Pearl/Platinum version, you need to go to Route 228 to find Cacturne.
He's trying to protect the Sunkern from the mob of Murkrow, lol, but grass types are weak against flying types. Miltank is doing her best to help.

Awww! Cacturne are so cute! ^__^ I have one on my game, he's currently stored in the computer though, so I might take him out after seeing this

I have one dat's EV trained 'cause I'm like unhealthily obsessed with Pokemon, and plus it's awesome looking at your Cacturne's stats and seeing it with almost 350 for its attack stat.

The key to devastating Cacturne: First, get a male Breloom that knows seed bomb and a Female Cacturne and breed them until you get an adamant-natured Cacnea with seed bomb. Find a way to get it up to level 25 without battling wild pokemon or using the Day Care 'cause the Day Care is stupid and will delete seed bomb and you don't want to mess with its effort Values yet(try the Elite 4 if you don't have alot of rare candies 'cause battling them doesn't screw with your EVs). Let Cacnea battle 252 machop(attack)/4 Geodude(defense)/252 starly(speed). Then teach it these moves: Sucker Punch, Substitute, Swords Dance so it should know Seed Bomb Substitute, Swords Dance and Sucker Punch. Give it bright powder to hold. Get Caturne in a sandstorm by letting another pokemon that either knows Sandstorm or has the ability "sand stream" on it to set up sand storm. Use substitute + swords dance, then sucker punch the rest of the opponents team. >W< You are now untouchable unless the game pulls lucky hax for your opponent or the opponent resists dark types/physical moves. Cacturne is screwed against physical walls/tanks.
But yeah, Cacturne's ability to up its evasiveness in sandstorm + bright powder + Substitute = free swords dance barring the opponent doesn't predict this and just go all out before you can set up. It takes alot of prediction, which is why I usually just let my sandstormer die so Cacturne doesn't have to get hit on a switch-in.
Totally fails in ubers or OU tier because alot of them can take physical hits, but it'll whoop most regular and un-EV trained teams sometimes without even having to swords dance.
