Drew a cartoonish piccy of that bathroom scene at the end of Saw 7 where Hoffman gets trapped.This is for 'cause I know she likes Hoffman. Maybe I shoulda stuck with drawing that badass scene where he's leaving that one building as it explodes.

yeah I have treated this page like shit for the last couple of months since I have more or less real heavy artblock and
becoming addicted to tumblr *lol*
sadly i have (again xD) regocnized that a lot of people who liked to talk to me here stopped talking when they have my
MSN address or when I am not here .__.
I mean I don't care that much about it but it just freakes me out 'cause I know when I would be as activ as before they
would might talk to me like before x__X

Oh I know the feelin'. I've been doing a helluva lot more browsing the net/playing video games than actual drawing lately. It suuuuucks. I don't even have art block either, it's just that I don't want to draw. x-x
A lot of people who used to talk to me all the time seem to be drifting away, even on MSN. Probably my fault for not logging in for so long. ;-; They probably think I don't like them or got better things to do or something and that's totally not true. *being a paranoid parrot lol*
I think DA is what we make of it, not just the staff. If we go about DA as if it were Myspace or Facebook that's not what it was intended to be. As an art community members should be taking part in improving their art and helping others improve, whether they're good or not. You don't have to be good at art to give helpful advice to improve.
The only problems I see with this is not everyone has the time for this, or the people on the receiving end of constructive criticism get butthurt because somebody pointed out an imperfection in their art that needed improvement. Not wanting to start an argument, people just avoid critique altogether.
DA, to me, only gets pointless and boring when it's treated like a social networking site rather than an art community.
There were some cool things added though that made the site more interesting, like you can draw in the comment sections. And there's always memes.

pfff ~ i wish sometimes i would have recived some critique .___. I have asked for it so many times 'cause I know that I have to learn more
and I wanted to hear opinions from my watcher but all I got were things like "oh this is cute" "you're good ... i do not see why this piece shouldn't be gorgeous" etc ... they were all to shy to say something like "this might have be done better. this and that is good but there you need a bit more training"
maybe this is also the reason why i lost interesst in posting stuff here
i am not perfect and so is my work .__.
the only one who tries to give me that kind of feedback was my bf

First of all: I'm so sorry it took me like a year to reply to this. ;w; I guess replies got bunched up in my inbox and I sorta forgot. *ashamed*
Back on topic: I try to do my best to give a critique of my friends' works but some of 'em idk how they'd take it. I'll try to critique your stuff though when I can. ^^ My art teacher would always tell me that you never learn from comments like, "oh that's cute!" or "that's amazing!" so I try to offer a bit more than just that or I might not comment at all.
That scarecrow pic is awesome. :'D I fav'd it like immediately.
