Description
After she and Trotter had finished with the planting, Sammie decided to go down to Dr. Quaak's clinic and check up on Ozzie, who is getting his eyes treated after he they had been hit with Trotter's Sludge Bomb.When she got back to the village, she saw that he was outside the tent with bandages wrapped around his eyes.
"Ozzie!" the Vulpix called as she ran to his side.
"Sammie? That you? I hear you, but I can't see you."
"You can't see?" Sammie asked. "Oh, no! You're blind! I knew this was gonna happen! Oh my god, I just knew you were gonna go blind!"
"I'm not blind, Sammie!" Ozzie barked. "I just can't see through these bandages."
"Oh, right," said Sammie with a sheepish laugh.
"The doc says that while the poison has been completely removed, I have to keep these bandages on, just to be safe," said Ozzie.
"By the way, where's Moe?"
"He went on home. He was worried about the egg we're taking care of."
"Oh, right. You guys adopted an egg from Missy, right?"
"Yeah."
A pause.
"So...how's Trotter?" asked Ozzie.
"He's...still pretty pissed off," Sammie answered. "I'm sorry that he attacked you like that."
"Ah, forget about it," Ozzie said.
Sammie suddenly kissed Ozzie on the muzzle, making him smile a genuine smile...and caused him to blush, too.
"What was that for?" the Poochyena asked.
"To help you feel better," Sammie replied.
With that, Sammie turned to leave, but then...
"Hey, Sammie!"
"Yeah?"
"When I get these wraps off...do you mind...coming to dinner at the Spinda Cafe with me?"
"...sure. It's a date."
"Great."
