Yeah, sorry for giving updates on my projects.This is me testing the system again and my first attempt in making a Gift file.
This isn't all I made for Shard, I made more sprites of him, but I'm going to make a big preview, before I release the rest.
This Reason I'm taking so long in posting something is that I'm actually making a full quality Sprite animation, a Sprite fight mostly to test my skills in flash mostly. So far according to Shad and vid, HOLY CRAP.
So don't expect my project to be done soon, I'm not god.
So anyways, give your complements. I do see a few flaws in this gift file, but I fix them soon.

Well thanks. At some point I might come back to this, but if not, I might some point release what I have so far, so others can have a shot at it.
I've got other project that i have to deal with first.

I'm actually still looking for them. They're somewhere among a HUGE amount of content on an external hard drive. I'll upload the sheet when I find all of the piece I've made so far.

Are they around the style my shard customs? I actually made a couple more, but decide to drop mine, due to too much work.

Yeah. They're in Advance/Battle Style... kind of. Found them. I brightened the colors a bit and then uploaded them. Keep in mind, these are from around 3 years ago, when I first started making even somewhat custom sprites, so they're not great, and I didn't make many at the time.

Pretty much, yeah. I did them in an Advance/Battle style, and hadn't worked on them for a long time due to lack of motivation. Looking back, I really didn't finish many of them.

Yeah. The shard sprites I was working on were semi-custom made, meaning I rarely traced over sonic sprites to make my version. Actually I think I probably should release those just in case. If you do have the talent, you could try to continue if you want, but your going to have not rely on tracing over or other sprites.
If these were not traced, then your on the right track.
Anyways I'll probably just release my shard sprites if you want to takal it yourself. I gave up because I lost interest.

... Well, might as well be honest. I'm not sure what you mean by "tracing", but my sprites came about by mostly editing the spines, eyes, and mouths from Sonic poses. The only kinds of sprites I've ever built from the ground up pixel-by-pixel were jpeg sprites that some people refused to share (to be fair, I never shared the copies of those sprites, but... meh), but if what I did for the Shard sprites is tracing, then I'm not sure I'd be up to it. I've done some stuff with the posing of legs or arms when they don't look right, but that's about it. Pretty much all of my sprites are edited from another. It just happens to be what I do best.

The shard sprites I saw on your page almost did look like some of the sonic advance sprites too me. I'm actually more used to saying editing sprites as tracing, because a lot of people on other peoples cases about when they traced over other peoples work. Heck the sans sprites and the upcoming frisk sprites I'm working on are actually traced over Mario sprites, because their the closest I can get to make good sprites.
After seeing so many Sonic FC's, its kind've hard for me to tell the difference between tracing, and actual editing. Sorry if I offended you.

That's perfectly fine. You didn't offend me or anything like that. To be honest, the only reason I choose to edit other sprites as abase for the ones I make is because I'm in my first semester of college and as a result, simply don't have time to do it any other way. If it helps, I do give credit where due (and, well, if I can remember who the original sprites came from).
