Katara, in 8-bit, Code Monkeys style.
The hair-loops were hell, everything else came together pretty easily. Not sure who I'll do next. Mai will likely be a difficult one, though, that I'm almost sure of... Anywho, more to come later.

They look so simple, yet i have no idea how your makin them...

It is simple, really. I open a new, blank Photoshop document, zoom in as close as Photoshop will allow (1200-1600%), and then create them 1 pixel at a time.
