As a photograph, it's brilliant! I originally thought this was a photo manipulation, and that the "dust" had been added afterwards, as well as the snow on his face. But considering it's in the photography section, I assume he was actually blowing the stuff?
I noticed in your comments that you mentioned that it was for a fashion shoot. As a fashion photograph I have to agree with you, I think it concentrates too much on the snow/effects rather than the clothes which you're trying to promote. I think if it's going to be a fashion photo, it really should concentrate on the clothes you're trying to promote, and fancy effects should be kept to a minimum, or at least behind the shot.
As a fancy photograph though, it's gorgeous. The colours definitely enhance the feeling of winter, and the snow attached to the models' face really ensures that the viewer knows its cold. But is the snow on his cheek/chin really necessary? Somehow I feel that, that line on his cheek/neck really distract from the piece.
Overall the colours are gorgeous, and as a photograph it's beautiful. But be careful with your fashion photography to not go crazy with the effects! Haha.

I was actually blowing stuff in the photograph, powdered sugar to be exact.
And just a quick clarification, I agree that the snow on the face is somewhat distracting in this photograph but the overall shoot's character was supposed to be Jack Frost which explains why it's there, although I failed to mention.

Ahh! That does explain why it's there yes! Haha. Though if it's supposed to be Jack Frost, should there not be more snow? Not too much more of course, but somehow at the moment, I feel it's floating in the middle. If that makes sense? Probably not... it's still too early here XD Haha.

Wow, well the first thing that caught my eye was your face, you looked very poised and your eyes are beautiful. I also noticed the coat, I like how the light catches the fur. I think you should submit it to the group

Yes, there is a lot of focus on the snow...but I think it added a very needed dynamic into the picture. Well done.
