Zafir's magic power mostly involves the manipulation of his own body-the flames (or smoke in invoked form) which surround his body. He can invoke flame in any part of his body.

Personality:

A bit of a hothead (Ha Ha) and rough around the edges. Zafir is impulsive-acts first and asks questions later. Quick to anger, but easy to please. Despite his many flaws, he's not a bad guy. Very empathetic and surprisingly has a clear understanding of humans and human nature. While he does act as though he doesn't think, he is bright and has flashes of intuition when not ruled by his emotions (which is never). Thinking too deeply about things or complicated matters is not Zafir's style. A bit of a moodmaker. He can be surprisingly cruel or callous at times, and it's unclear whether it is sincere or a facade.

Origin:

His master, Reuben, has always had a curiosity for things he does not understand. He has a deep thirst for that which he does not know-taking things apart meticulously, and learning the secrets of the universe. So, for him a partner who is most curious would be the best. A test subject with endless mysteries and curiosities to experiment with and discover. In a way, a guide who is a djinn can teach him many things (though perhaps not in the way Zafir would like). With Zafir's explosive personality and fast reactions as well, any results from experimentation would be clear and rather instantaneous.

In standby form, his body is hot to the touch-but he can control the temperature of the flames at will.
He has feet in standby form, they're just shrouded in flame most of the time.
He appears as though he's floating all the time, but it's the way the flames play around his body.
His invoked form is smoke-burning without fire.
