So, I've kind of got into mask making. >.o; I buy the plastic full base, cut it out to the design I want, paint it, feathers, string, etc. : D This is my mask, full done and designed by me. Over the next couple weeks I'll upload more pictures of some friends' masks I helped design and work on as well. I'm also working on a sculpted mask for my room mate. Keep an eye out for these! I may eventually offer to make them as commission. <3 Let me know what you think - feedback loved!Oh yes, and this is kitsune inspired with colors to match my dress. : 3
Just to let you know... It was hell on wheels to make and I tried glossing over the top white like the rest of it paint on mask and it turned the white blue. D; I had to re-paint over it and it took hours to fix. T_T
Made using a plastic base, ribbon, brown and white paint, dark brown marker, tack glue, clear sparkles, gold spray paint, gloss, and brown, white, and beige feathers.
Time estimate of about 8 hours over a series of weeks (drying and such)

That's really cool! I love that feathers, especially. I bet you could sell this if you wanted to. (Not that you should. 
I think it could be even better if you fixed up the edges of the painted white part to be clearly defined.

The one made for me was $75. I would probably buy it for 40-85 depending on the design and time you're would be in the 85 range. Ya it's that good

Okay, very cool. One thing, I can do a mask like that, but I use a plastic base so it has the eyes and nose already done into it. From there I can use clay to change things, I'm currently working on a mask with a bird beak for a friend coming out of that, so as long as you can work around that I'd love to make you a mask. : D Do you have a design in mind already? Based on the design and how much time I have, I can give you a rough commission estimate and then I'll figure out shipping as well to add onto that.

I'm not sure. They're good, but I can't really see anyone wanting to commission anyone for a mask. At least not too often anyway. But who knows, try it out and see what happens.
