Description
Ahh this one was to be the companion picture to the 'Burning Nightmare' one i uploaded recently. I'd personally call it a failure because I see so many flaws in it (more than normal lol). In trying to re-duplicate the other image's effect with this one, it messed up the skin. I also had trouble posing the hair properly so i had to make due. Its also a bit too dark i know. I blame my laptop's lack of proper contrast settings lol. -kicks her old laptop- But since this was put back like the other and made a while ago, I figure might as well upload it too just like that one.The idea, like the last, was to have Tifa in a 'Nibelheim-like' setting. Only in this case, after the fire destroyed everything. We know Tifa ran off after Sephiroth but i figure there could be any number of hours that might have passed between the fire and then. She had to run through the burning town, go across the bridge and get up the mountain to the reactor. Or maybe she was in the town and passed out somewhere where the fire wasnt so intense. Or maybe something happened after she went after Sephiroth. We really don't know for sure. And if we do then i sure as hell can't remember lol. I haven't played the game for a while and between the original content and last order and crisis core, it can be a jumbled mess when you think about it. So just use your imagination.
The background, also like the burning nightmare image, is a screenshot from Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice. The same area as the fire in the other image, just afterward. I wanted to try and keep some sort of consistency there as far as theme goes.
Tifa is from
Background is my own screenshot from Hellblade Senua's sacrifice.
Posed in XPS
Rendered in Blender Cycles

Tifa and Final Fantasy are credited to Square Enix
Hellblade is credited to Ninja Theory

awwwww, i dunno why you dont like it! its great so spoopy ^^
a trick you can try with posing, if it doesnt want to work in XPS you can sculpt it in Blender ^^ using a mix of the "sculpt" tool, and Propotional Editing ^^
I do this a lot to tweak clothes and the hair so it looks how it needs too ^^

spoopy? lol never heard that one before! I know i can be overly critical of my work but i..... have no excuse -too tired- xD
i've heard of one of those things way back in the day. i vaguely remember sculpting when it came to modding actually lol. The other, not until recently. One of my biggest issues when it comes to xps and blender is getting rid of 'stiffness' in parts of a model. Like i can bend clothes to match a pose but some parts dont always bend right and so they turn out rough looking (example here though not the clothes, but Tifa's hair ends for example). I know about pulling the vertices (those lines i think they're called? ugh i need to brush up on my terms again haha) but i always thought if you mess with the mesh too much it can make things worse if you're not careful. Like when using subdivide too many times. So i never learned those things haha. I might just have to see if i cant figure it out!
Is that how you get clothes to look all smooth and err form fitting? Because WOW lol.

yupp ^^ thats exactly how i do it In xps the clothes can be really bulky and just dont like to sit right XD so i attack them in blender using both methods ^^ and it works wonders
i used the method here on clarissa's & Aerith's skirts
you can see that they look like they fall much nicer :3 but in XPS, GOOD GOD NO! just its a nifty little method i think ^^
for Hair i used the method here:
I needed to do a lot of editing with this one here on Aranea's hair because in XPS the parts she has out are stuck to her face xD (i also did it a bit on her dress around her butt to give her dress a bit more shape and form on her body ^^)

Yeah that's right. Danni did a great job posing Aerith' skirt for me there when I was about to lose it!
Thank you for that again, Danni.
