This is something I've had in my back log of needing to complete for a while now before I start and catch up on anything new when it comes to rendering.

Grumble grumble not happy with this as i wanted to be mumble mumble lol

Right out of the gate, I dont know how to make pyreflies in photoshop lol. I have a brush but it doesnt actually give the effect so I had to improvise. This is the best I could do. Apologies if it's too bright or just not that great.

Other than that, this started out as experiment with creating a scene in blender itself. Going by a youtube tutorial, I unfortunately, had trouble following along 'exactly', for various reasons so I couldnt complete it. I'm just happy i was able to pull off the mountain 'look' and the water and sky. Better than nothing.

I'm most proud of the lighting.

The credit for the pose though, goes to my bestie FairSoldier who was kind enough to make it for me. Thank you!! ^_^

Inspired by the sending scene in FFX, I wanted to do something like that with Yuna and with the scenery itself, I sort of envisioned the outskirts of Mt. Gagazet or somewhere in that region. Maybe she's performing a sending or maybe she's just communicating with the pyreflies. It's whatever you make of it!
