Description
My first time drawing a Dragonborn, and it was a lot of fun. Horses are always a challenge to make right. My scanner fades the colours, but saturating the image brought back some of it.

Medium: Artist pens and Prismacolor pencils on 8.5x11 paper.

Commission details:

"So he's a Dragonborn noble eldritch knight, a fighter class who is trained to also use magic. He's a noble with a huge tendency to use logic, but is also capable of using his charisma to get ahead in social issues. His scales are a rich metallic brass color and he has a pair of wing-like sails that sweep along either side of his head, making him look sort of royal. He's 6'2 and 200 lb, bulky but not too bulky, being a magic user, and deep, dark red eyes. He stands with tall, confident posture and definitely looks like someone who is capable, someone who might impress or intimidate others on first contact. He wears regular iron chain mail with maybe some royal blue clothes or something that a noble would wear that naturally looks good on him. And he has a competent black warhorse with padded barding of some neutral color that he's been trained to fight on mounted. He uses a silver morning star and a metal heater shield with a symbol of a star over a nebula hammered into it (pics below). He also uses the cantrip fire bolt, but also capable of other powerful spells, but doesn't have a focus. He wears a glass chess piece shaped like a griffon on a metal chain around his neck as a good luck charm."
