~~~Seto's P.O.V.~~~

Me, Deadlox, Sky, Jason, Ssundee, and Mitch were all out to eat. Not all of the gang could come, but I don't think all of us would be able to fit in the booth anyway, so it works out for the best.

I was sitting in between Ssuddee and Deadlox- who practically acted like my big brother. The rest of the guys were wrapped around the table, chatting amongst themselves. The only who didn't seem to be paying attention was Mitch, he had something on his mind.

Sky must have seen my looking at Mitch because he spoke up. "You alright, Mitch?" Sky asks, making everyone else at the table shut up.

Mitch looks up, for he was staring at the table. I could see he was nervous by the way he was smiling. "Y-Yeah!" He says, trying to seem at ease, "I'm guud."

Jason shakes his head. "No, no," he says, "somethin's buggin you, now what is it?"

Mitch hangs his head, fiddling with his hands. "I-I'm dating someone..." He starts.

"That's awesome!" I exclaim, "who is it?!"

Mitch bites his lips. "U-Uh... I'm not sure if he wants me to tell-"

"He?!" Deadlox exclaims. Mitch flinches, but when Deadlox starts up again he looks surprised. "Congratulations dude!"

Mitch looks around the table at all the smiling faces. "So- you guys aren't mad?"

"No!" All of us say in unison.

"Who is it?" I ask again.

This time Mitch giggles. "Jerome~"

I gasp. "No. Way." I say I like a gossip obsessed middle school girl.

Everyone laughs at my statement and I laugh too. I stop when I feel Deadlox nudge me in the side with his elbow. I look up at him and he leans down. He points across the fast-food restaurant, and everyone stops to see what he was pointing at.

I feel my cheeks grow red as I see the one and only Brice GoldSolace. My crush. Deadlox knew this, and now everyone else was going to too.

Ssundee follows my gaze to see Brice. "You know Brice?" He asks, looking at me curiously.

Deadlox looks at Ssundee and grins. "Oh he knows him alright~"

I punch Deadlox in the arm, trying to get him to shut up. But he continues. "He's Seto's cruuuuuussshhhhh~"

My eyes widen as he stretches out the word 'crush'. Everyone at the table 'ooooooooh's and I put my elbows on the table, burrying my head into my hands.

Ssundee slaps me on the back and I look up, my cheeks burning a bright red. "Well," he says, "if it makes you feel any better, it's looks like you're eye-candy to Brice because he's been lookin' at you for a while."

I turn my head to the table Brice and all his buddies were sitting at. Brice was indeed looking at me, and when he sees my gaze he turns around quickly.

"Dude-" Sky starts, "he was blushing!" Everyone 'ooooooh's again and this time a smile pulls at my lips, but I shake my head.

Ssundee chuckles. "I think he has somethin' for ya dude!"

I can't help but to get slightly excited by his statement, but I force it down. "No way! How would you even know?!"

Ssundee shakes his head. "I'm his bud. Well, except them," he says tilting his head in Brice's tables direction. "He talks about you sometimes, but he always forces himself to shut up before anyone suspect anything."

Deadlox nudges me teasingly and I bang on the table with my fists. "WHY WOULD YOU NEVER TELL ME THIS?!"

Everyone bursts out laughing, earning us a few stares, but nobody minded. Sky's laugh stood out the most, which was just another thing to make me laugh.

After a few minutes the laughter dies down, most of the others holding theirs sides due to laughing so hard. I dare sneak a glance at Brice, and see him looking at me. Instead of quickly looking away he smiles gently, seeing the still large grin on my face.

Brice turns back to his friends. I can't tell what he says, but I see him gesture over his shoulder. A shiver of nervousness runs over me, and it gets even worse when his friends start laughing. I can tell Brice isn't laughing, and he seems slightly disappointed.

Brice stands up and grabs his drink from the table. He begins to walk towards our table, and this time I nudge both Deadlox and Ssundee. They both look up as Brice arrives at our table, head low.

"H-hey guys," he says, "mind if I sit here? I was kinda kicked out by all my 'friends'."

Ssundee stands up and pats Brice on the shoulder, making him look up and smile. "That happens to everyone at some point, kid." He explains. Ssundee gestures to where he was originally sitting- next to me. A light blush makes it's way over both of our cheeks as Brice sits down.

The rest of the group at our table takes it to themselves to become match makers. Ssundee sits down on the other side of Brice, and Deadlox was still sitting on the other side of me.

I could feel Deadlox shift, and slowly I was shoved closer to Brice. I put my head down and messed with my hands, not actually wishing to be taken out of Brice's presence.

I could feel Brice push closer to me, and I assumed it was Ssundee who was doing it, but when I looked up I was shocked to see Ssundee wasn't even paying attention.

Brice smiles and leans back, putting his arm around my shoulder. I blush heavily, and blush even more when Jason decides to nudge Sky, making him look. Sky shoved Mitch to make him look, and as soon as he did he made a little squealing noise.

Brice jumped slightly and looked at Mitch, confusion all over his face. "I'm sorry," Mitch giggles, trying to stop smiling like an idiot. "You guys would be so cute together!"

My eyes widen and I stare at Mitch, embarrassment rising inside of me. I hear Brice chuckle and I look at him, his bright blue eyes meeting my brown ones. I smile nervously and he tilts his head, a small smile still present on his lips.

I feel a little worry when he doesn't do anything, the smile on his face slowly disappearing. "A couple, huh?" He asks, still studying me carefully.

Mitch bounces in his seat, "would you guys go out with each other? Like- would you be willing to?"

Another wave of embarrassment rushes over me and this time I look down. Due to all the excitement and worry from the hour, my hands were sparking with energy, and I was trying to not let Brice notice.

"Whoa..." Brice says, using his free hand to grab mine. "Can you do that again?"

I chuckle nervously, trying to look confused. "Do wh-what?"

Brice smiles excitedly. "That thing with the sparks, they were cool! How'd you do that?!"

I smile slightly and pull up my hands, looking at them closely. I let a single purple spark dance off my palm, making Brice go nearly hysterical. "I-I'm a sorcerer. I-It's magic... I didn't think that you would like it..."

"Are you crazy?!" Brice asks, a smile tugging at his lips, "it's awesome! I love magic!"

I look back down at my hands. I pull both of them up, cupping them like I was going to catch something. "I can do different colors too," I say quietly. "The colors are with moods, but I can only do colors from the emotions I've felt today."

A ball of shining blue sparks form in my hands, and everyone at the table huddles around, trying to get a good view.

"Oh, oh!" Jason exclaims, and I look at him. "I know that color! That ones calm!"

I nod and giggle. I will the energy ball to go away and it does. I make another one, this one is orange.

This time Ssundee hits the table, making me jump and the energy ball sputter. "That one's worry!" He chimes, looking proud of himself.

I chuckle and the sparks disappear. Another one forms, this one green. Deadlox bounces, flailing his hands in the air. "That ones excitement! I know that somehow!" He pauses. "Is that right?"

I chuckle and put my hands down, the sparks disappearing with a 'poof'. "Ya, that's right," I say, wiping my hands on my pants. My hands were getting tingly from all of the energy being formed, and my head was getting woozy, but I acted as it was nothing.

I pull my hands up again, another bundle of sparks forming.

"Anger?" Sky and Mitch say at once, seeing the red sparks dancing around.

I see Brice shake his head out of the corner of my eye, and I look at him. The energy sparks even more as I see that we are still pushed together.

Brice taps his chin. "I know this one, I swear." He thinks a little more. "That color means love, right? Or passion. Something along those lines."

Everyone at the table giggles and Brice looks around. The sparks turn yellow, and Mitch coos. "Someone's embarrassed. Huh, Seto?"

I force the energy ball away too quickly, and my head swims. I put my hand on my forehead, then shake my head.

Brice pats my back. "You alright, buddy?" He asks, looking quite concerned.

I nod, leaning onto the back of the booth. "Just using all of that energy is tiring," I explain. "I've done more than that before, but I end up passing out not long after." I sigh tiredly and mumble. "I hope I don't this time..."

Brice must of heard me though, because he wraps both arms around me and pulls me into his side. "Don't worry, Seto," he says and chuckles. "You'll be okay."

I blush heavily as he continues to hold me, but eventually lean my head on his shoulder.

I look at everyone else at the table and they all have a just-do-it-already look. I blush again and look up at Brice. He sees my glance and smiles down at me.

The nervousness wells in my stomach until I think I'm going to throw up, but I force body to move.

I swiftly lean up and press my lips against his, earning 'awwwwww's from all around the table.

I couldn't tell if Brice had accepted the kiss or not. One, because my eyes were closed and two, he wasn't moving. He still had his arms wrapped around me, but nothing moved.

After a few more seconds I pull back, beginning to panic as I see Brice sitting in shock. "B-Brice?.." I choke out, fearing he would reject me.

I feel tears begin to well in my eyes when he unwraps his arms from me, and this time Deadlox grabs my shoulder and pulls me close. He was being protective, since Brice was probably mad at me now.

"Well?" Deadlox hisses. "Are you gonna say something or sit there with your mouth open?"

Brice begins to stutter, but finds his voice. "S-Seto? D-Did you mean that?" He asks, not looking very angry.

I nod shakily, my lip quivering and a single tear falling down my face.

He sighs and grabs me out of Deadlox's grip. He pulls me into a hug, and this time I sit in shock. "I guess-" he starts, "I was just surprised that you had the courage to do that first."

I feel confused for a second until he tilts my head up with his hand. My blush darkens as he quickly closed the space between us. This time my eyes widen, but I quickly take a chance and return the kiss.

I zone out and I don't hear much of the 'awwwws' from around the table. When Bruce pulls back I stare at him, unsure what to do after what had happened. Brice sees this and wraps his arms around me, pulling me into his side again.

"I knew it!" Mitch squeals, flailing his arms the air. "You guys are cute together!!!"
