"i didn't know clothing was gendered now".
Wow, and how old are you?

I'm almost fifteen. in less than a month.
I don't think clothing should be gendered. most of my clothing is marketed towards men, and despite me being nonbinary I'm very feminine. and I wear the shirts anyway. because I do not care who they were marketed to. anyone can wear them.

I blame this sick generation then.
We have different clothing for men and women. It's so pathetic that the confusion of this world is now suggesting that we do not need clothing for specific genders...

we really don't. I wear clothes marketed towards men since the t shirts are much more comfortable than the ones for women. it's a t shirt for a band. the only difference between it and the women's one is that it's airier and more comfortable than the women's one, which is too tight. I don't see why you care so much about what other people wear. especially teenagers.
just a heads up, though, that my mom is 46 years old and she wears male marketed t shirts quite often. so the generation has nothing to do with it.

So are you trying to say that you're either male or female? You can't be both.

clivehandforth In reply to Xiao-Fury [2016-08-10 18:47:16 +0000 UTC]
no, you can't. but I don't see the problem with feminine aligned people wearing male clothing and vice versa. I'm comfortable and that should be what matters.

clivehandforth In reply to Xiao-Fury [2016-09-29 10:34:00 +0000 UTC]
if i'm comfortable i don't see the issue. plenty of my band merch is marketed towards men but i wear it anyway even though it has men's in the title. why? because i like it. i don't think that you should be trying to tell a fifteen year old that she can't wear what she wants. as long as i'm not dressing provocatively i don't see thhe issue.

Xiao-Fury In reply to clivehandforth [2016-09-30 03:14:37 +0000 UTC]
Comfort doesn't means that it's the right choice to do. Just like two people consenting to intimacy while not married. Consent doesn't mean they both did something good. It means they both chose to sin.
I can tell what I want to anybody honestly...especially a 15 year old because she's of the age to be persuaded. If I'm going to persuade a person, I would like to tell them the truth while I'm at it.

clivehandforth In reply to Xiao-Fury [2016-09-30 09:25:11 +0000 UTC]
listen. i live in a house with a nonpracticing catholic mother and i was raised being told that god loves EVERYBODY no matter their sin. i, personally, have formed my own opinions and i just don't believe anything is out there. so why should i be threatened by something that i don't believe in? i'm a random fifteen year old girl on the internet. i'm dressing comfortably and happy, i wear makeup, and EVERYONE can tell that i'm a girl. 90% of the time if i'm wearing a band t shirt marketed towards men, women are usually the ones who have it. and it isn't like you can tell it's marketed towards men. it doesn't automatically make me grow a beard. everyone can still tell that i'm a girl.

Xiao-Fury In reply to clivehandforth [2016-10-01 18:16:33 +0000 UTC]
God does love everybody, but what your mother failed to tell you is this:
23Β For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6). God is holy, but does who choose to sin willfully will be punished. Holiness and sinfulness will never couple.
Ok, if you dress and look like a girl---fine.Β

????
How the f*ck does that result in being an object?
It's called I don't really have a definite gender. Sometimes I'm a guy. Sometimes I'm a chick. Sometimes I'm just downright agender.
It's not a difficult concept to grab a hold of.

Humans are male or female. Anything else makes you a thing or object.
π: 0 β©: 1
NummyPixels In reply to Xiao-Fury [2015-09-08 16:34:25 +0000 UTC]
Actually you're very wrong.
Sexual organ wise there's male, female, and intersex. Gender wise that's all over the place. You can be a guy, a girl, agender, non binary, and so forth. Why? Because it's psychological. It involves what the PERSON themselves feel.
I was born in a female body, but I don't feel very female more often then not. I much prefer wearing guy's clothes, hanging out with guys, acting like a guy, and so forth. Sometimes I'll put on make up and feel pretty but most of the time I identify more as a male or just agender. Therefore I'm genderfluid.
Everything's not as simple as black and white.

Xiao-Fury In reply to NummyPixels [2015-09-09 16:18:35 +0000 UTC]
Sexual organs wise, yes. If you have the organs of a woman, you're a woman. If you're able to becomw pregnant, you're a woman.
You are a female. Feelings are like wind...they change ever so often. Don't be moved by your emotions. God made man and woman uniquely different for His purpose.
Besides, men are weird. lol
π: 0 β©: 1
NummyPixels In reply to Xiao-Fury [2015-09-09 16:32:31 +0000 UTC]
Um, no. I was born into a female body. My BODY is female. My mind changes. I don't stick to one gender permanently.
God doesn't define me, you, or anyone else. He created us, yes, and in such he made me genderfluid when creating me. Just as he made you a woman (as I'm assuming you're female, correct me if I'm mistaken) when creating you. Just as he made everyone who they are.
Men are no more weirder than women, tbh.
π: 0 β©: 1
Xiao-Fury In reply to NummyPixels [2015-09-10 03:38:50 +0000 UTC]
Then you are a FEMALE.
You can't be a man. Do you know why it is said that men are from Mars, and women are from Venus?
π: 0 β©: 1
NummyPixels In reply to Xiao-Fury [2015-09-10 15:11:59 +0000 UTC]
You don't define me. I define me. So if I feel that I am genderfluid then I am genderfluid.
That's just a stupid rhyme?? The f*ck does that have to do with any of this?
π: 0 β©: 1
Xiao-Fury In reply to NummyPixels [2015-09-10 17:09:16 +0000 UTC]
Your biological make-up defines you. More importantly, God.
Well, since you can't even answer THAT question...shows me that you need a lot of help understanding the differences of male and females, and just why God made us uniquely different.
Stop with this silly trans-trend. You're a woman and will die one. How can you look in the mirror and deny your own self?
π: 0 β©: 1
NummyPixels In reply to Xiao-Fury [2015-09-10 18:06:38 +0000 UTC]
God doesn't define me. He created me but he put me here to discover myself. I believe in him and know what he's done and that's why I know that he made me just the way I am.
What I'm feeling and what I am isn't some "silly trans trend" it's me discovering another part of myself. I USED to deny myself in the mirror when I insisted there was no chance I could be anything other than female. When I was honest and said to myself "you're genderfluid" I was freeing myself of a lie that society taught me to believe.

Look up? Look up what? I know that I'll have to tell God I'm genderfluid and I have no problem with that. There's no verse in the Bible telling me that's a sin.
When did I tell him what to do? Please, do tell. Cause last I checked I didn't.

Look past fiction into the real world and think
"Is something that is found in many species, even fish and bugs, and includesΒ
-Homosexual Parenting
-Courting
-Affection
And never harms anything. Is that bad?"Β
You will find the answer is no. We are animals. It is natural. The only thing her that is unnatural is your homophobia
Also are you calling me unnatural for wearing clothes of the other sex? If so you need to remember these things
-As much as you wish you were, you are not a god
-Clothing isn't supposed to be for a certain gender. Society is the cause of that.
-Saying that women should wear certain clothes is putting you even more on the same level as Muslims, which many of you Right wing Christians seem to hate
