I realize that this piece is over a year old, but I felt that I had to write here that it still affected me today (art is eternal, etc). I haven't much more to say than that. When I first came across this work I didn't picture it as the end of a relationship, but more as the continuance of some sort of secret, forbidden love. Maybe it's just how small they look here, it gives them more of a teenage look. The positioning of the tree and the sunset reminded me a bit of the Badlands poster. 
I won't try to flatter you too much further, beyond that I enjoy this scene a lot. It's not only one of those pictures that made me stop and look, but one that also made me feel. It's too bad that this one doesn't have more page views and comments, but I suppose that in this line of work that isn't the main thing you're after. You keep creating. This one sat around in your head for a long time, I'm sure that it'll have a long shelf life for many of those unspoken members of the crowd as it has for me.

D'aww, this is nice.

I've never been all that big on Fluttermac, but that doesn't mean I don't think this is a great piece.
