I just got done with finals and everything, and I wanted to post a work-in-progress picture.

I've recently rekindled my love for How to Train Your Dragon. It's one of the few movies whose sequels are just as good as the first movie. I've always meant to do more fan art for it, but I had trouble drawing the cartoon characters in my own style. The style of HTTYD is unique, and adds to the characters themselves, but I didn't want to just copy it. I wanted to preserve their characters, but in my normal drawing style. It wasn't easy, but it was fun! I'm especially happy with how Fishlegs turned out.

I'm going to be coloring these with colored pencils as soon as I can.
