originally this is more serious than what it turned out. i just doodled Gilbird and it cracked me up.so i did last minute changes on the lineart; serious Prussia became the usual Prussia and the focused Germany gone XD
from my actual version, Prussia is looking forward; but when i resized this, it seems like he's looking down. weird.
West! stop wasting ammunitions! let's make them go KABOOM!

I remember seeing this on the front page along time ago, and never really getting it because I'd never watched Hetalia, but I thought it was such a beautiful piece. And now since I found it again, and because I've watched Hetalia now, I get it, it just looks 100000x more awesome :'D

This is what I'm looking for the characters expressions fit the setting and mood and background fantastically shows originality vision impact and creativity it gives me the feeling like I'm there she has done really really well alo the mix of of colours go really well together fantastic effort!.

I really love this work and its very detailed and the lighting is amazing... But that historical part of my brain is going "No! Prussia didn't like nazis! No!!" ....I'm going to tell it to ignore that and look at the pretty artwork.

*bows to the awesome* I will never be able to do guns like that But it is just sooo cool! The panzerfaust is done really well. You have a style all your own. I'm one of the people who uses organic shapes to make my entire drawing, but your use of sharper, block-like edges is really good and doesn't take away from the inherent beauty of anime. I love Gilbert's clothing, but my favourite aspect of this picture has got to be Ludwig's perplexed expression.
My head-canon doesn't allow me to see Gilbert so blood-lusting, mostly because when it comes to aspects like warfare in Hetalia, I marry the two ideas of Hetalia with History, and Prussia never wanted anything to do with Germany or another war, but after being forcefully annexed, he fought well in the Eastern Front. Mostly because Himaruya did state that the Russian cold has virtually no effect on him, being raised in a cold place anyway.I saw, however, that whenever there was a loss on the Eastern Front, Germany had taken charge. Unfamiliar with Russia, and not adept to handle very cold places, he was ill-prepared and underestimated Russia.
