the characters blend in with the atmosphere so well, it's like they're actually in that setting, not just plastered on top of a background.Β
The foliage in both the background and the foreground create the sense that this is a deep jungle. they are also beautifully detailed and drawn. I love Shadow's protective/aggravated expression, and how he is holding Tikal, who by the way looks so lovely the way you've drawn her. The detail on her gold jewelry is amazing. The dark green-ish shading also helps them blend in more with the environment instead of sticking out, and it really does help. It looks so emotional and atmospheric... I really love it
