Description
The fighting is over, harmony is restored and life goes on.-Tikal the echidna.
I wasn't sure whether or not making an illustration or something special for Sonic's twentieth birthday.
I was feeling low for I dislike newest Sonic games and its storyline.
But, making remembrance of all those wonderful times I had playing those games, made me give it a try.
I have to say, even if I sound like a freak and I conffess I used to be (most of you know that!), I…conffess…
I cried, I laughed, I smiled, I screamed, I felt, I dreamt…

I cannot tell either if Sonic Adventure came into my life when I was living the best stage in my childhood or if I really believed those amazing characters were real or if the story was so amazing I couldn't believe I was playing a game this good! Come on, I was just a child! I'm just a child…
Hehe, it's funny. I remember perfectly those times…
I used to play all day long at my grandmother's house while my sister and my two cousins were watching me surprised at the speed I grabbed those little rings. They loved to take care of my Chao on Mystic Ruins Garden.
We could have eggs with ketchup and fortified chocolate flavoured milk for breakfast everyday (yeah, that's disgusting for me now, but we used to like that!).
After having breakfast, I would immediately come back running to continue my game.
I remember I lost about 70 lives trying to defeat the Egg Viper. Oh, I can do it now without losing a ring!
And I also remember confussing Pachacamac with Tikal.
Tikal…I loved Tikal! I adore her!
I cannot give you a description of her. She simply is.
Big's story was the last one for me to finish. Froggy was so freaking difficult to catch! And I finally finished Sonic Adventure one or two years later.
You can imagine my face when I first saw (oh wait, I still do that!) Super Sonic's story cutscenes. And the final battle! And Perfect Chaos!!
Of course, one of my favourite scenes is this one: the ending scene from Sonic Adventure.
You know, when the credits are over.
Still, everytime I see on screen the names of Kaori Aso(h) or Elara Distler I can't help screaming.
I'm such a freak. I know.
But I wish some of you could understand that Tikal, Chaos, E-102 Gamma, Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, Tails, Doctor Robotnik, Shadow, Metal Sonic and more characters from our favourite blue hedgehog's universe have stolen my heart for real.
The Adventure lives on!

I loved Chaos the most. ♥ I still do. He means so much to me.
Sonic Adventure has inspired me a lot. I didn't get to play it very much as a child, but it still amazed me. Now that I am older, it amazes me even more! The story is fantastic and the characters are all very dear to me.
The Adventure lives on for all of us, even now.
Sentimentality aside, this is a really lovely picture. It has a feeling of peace that fits that scene perfectly.

That was really nice. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle played a huge rule in my childhood. A very simple and happy time.

--Child hood memories-- I remember when I was about nine I'd watch Sonic X or Sonic underground or whatever sonic movie right after school and i'd miss dinner because I wouldn't stop watching until 'bedtime'.
And when I was 5 or 6 I'd play the 2-D games on the game cube with my friend where you ran around and collected rings and would have to beat eggman to get to the finish line.
And they were my imaginary friends for a long time to, when we were driving in the car I pictured Sonic running alongside us.
Ahh, childhood memories. funny what a big impact a game can make on your life.

Tikal will always be my favorite Sonic girl of all time! I love her with a burning passion because she has a major impact on the level of chaos, and she is such a friendly pacifist. I miss her dearly.

Sonic Adventure! It's my favourite 3D Sonic games, though I have a strong dislike for Big's stage. I admit too that was difficult to me but it was more of a test of patience for me more than anything else.
The chao are cute to look at. And Tikal and Chaos are nicely drawn. I wonder about the thing on the water though.... At first glance, it looks like an alien head. On second look, I realize it's a chao actually swimming backward. >_<

This story about your link to the older Sonic games like Sonic Adventure really touched me. I very much understand that feeling and experience. I remember how I cried when Gamma died at the end of his part.
Also another amazing job from you, as always. You draw Tikal & Co. with so much passion and love, it really shines out.

uwaaaaaaaaaaa!! this is so pretty I loved the background and the layout movement and the peace like this was perfect for ending credit. I mean i mostly praised the concept and your story on how much you loved Sonic back then (and yeah I do understand that feeling i kinda bit lost feeling to Sonic ._. )

I haven't really been blown away by a Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2.
And I frankly think that each game get's worse, I actually think they should revive some other series, such as the Jet Radio series.

Great way to depict how you truly felt when you played this game. I'm sure some of us very well remember what it was like, when we first played. So do I..
As for the picture. Beautiful! It looks so peaceful, wherever they are. Makes me wish I was there. The clouds and the water look amazing. And the chao look adorable as always. X3 But mostly love Tikal's soft expression and light coloring.

Listen, I understand completely. Sonic Adventure reminds me of briefly living with my own grandma. At a really dark time for me emotionally, Sonic Adventure let me escape the real world for a bit. I like SA2, but SA holds a special place for me as all. Kudos on the picture.
