Description It took almost an year of my spare time in the evenings to finish this model while learning Rhino. Everything is done from scratch. Of course it could be done much faster if i wasn't so tired after work... And it could be rendered much better either - but i am really tired of trying and waiting (since i am not that familiar with 3dsmax i fought really hard to cut down the rendering time to 6-8hrs on my athlon64/2GHz - the scene had 1.8 million polygons). There are certain design flaws too, and i don't find some parts attractive anymore, but i only got this far. This bycicle is intended to be used primarily in urban environment, it is not a 'tough offroad' type of bike (notice the slick tyres).

v-brake in back? Shame. Great design and attention to detail.

I would take some design cues from Shimano
Look at their XTR cranks

I like it, but the cranks look so.. "walmart bike" compared to the whole futuristic thing you got going on.

The same goes to the rest of the accessories too... not very original, i guess. I'll take notice. Thank you!

Stunning!! I Like the bike too much!.. but for me the crankset.. does not follow the same language/agressivity of the rest of the work.. seems to be little weak.. but for the rest is really nice.. keep working and donΒ΄t forget to make the patent.. Original idea!

If you want something extreme try shimano Saint.. or race face.. but Deore style for city is bless!

Well maybe it's my mistake this model looks rather aggressive than elegant, which was its purpose. I agree some of the parts do not comply the overall look, for example the too thin rear swingarm... I should replace the crankset with something based on a three-poined star to go with the rest.
Thank you for your comment!

yeah, i agree with you two, the crankset is too big maybe, and some parts of the bike are too thin... otherwise great modeling work!

It's a beautiful bike. I often find when I've poured a lot of time into a project I'm a little disenchanted with the end product, but I also lose patience along the way. Not sure I could ever do something this involved. Would love to have both the patience and the skills. Any way mad skillz... I love it. Great model.
