My half of an art trade with :
This has been almost finished for a while, but it's taken me forever to getting around to doing that log.
The eye and back hooves gave me the most trouble. Bleh =/ Need to work on hooves at different angles. And it was fun playing around with the light, because I noticed that's something I don't have a lot of in my gallery.
She just requested a appaloosa jumping, and so this is what I came up with
Of course it doesn't have a person on it since I fail at people. Hope you like it!
Used: mechanical pencil
edited contrast/ darkness and color in Gimp since my scanner=epic failure

aww, you drew my pony! Seriously, I ride a horse who looks EXACTLY like that. -_- he's a jumper, too.

Beautiful lighting! The planes of light on the horse's face and back are especially well done, as well as the light on the forelegs. The back cannons look a little straight, since they're the exact same width as the hocks. I can see where the log would have been daunting, but I think you pulled it off.
